Register to Vote in the State of Oregon
Registering to vote in Oregon is easy and requires very little time on your part. It can even be done online.
To register to vote in Oregon, you must be:
- At least 17 years old (*Note: you must be 18 to vote)
- A citizen of the United States for at least 21 days prior to the voter registration deadline
- A resident of the state of Oregon
If you are incarcerated for a felony conviction, you are not eligible to vote. Your voting privileges are restored when you are no longer incarcerated and you must re-register. If you are serving misdemeanor sentences in county jails or are on parole or probation, you are eligible to vote.
